OUR CUISINE
Caribbean cooks have the fascinating art of combining their own tropical blend of French, African, British, Chinese, Indian, Portuguese, Spanish, Danish, and Dutch culinary flavors. Common ingredients in most island dishes are rice, plantains, peas, beans, leafy vegetables, sweet potatoes, cassava, cilantro, bell peppers, garlic, onion, tomatoes, chick peas, corn meal, okra, coconut, various meats (beef, lamb, goat, pork, fish and shell fish), and curries. There is no one distinct style of Caribbean cooking. Recipes vary among the regions, nevertheless they are all flavorful.
